Can you debunk a common myth within your industry? by Richard Friesen

“It takes willpower, discipline, and motivation to be successful.” I often hear the words “try,” “fight,” “gotta,” “have to,” and “overcome” when listening to clients. They are all in the context of struggle. The harder to push and try, the more energy is wasted. The alternative? A context of awareness, acceptance, and finally, agency. We can then ask, “What do I want now?” We can then make an unconflicted decision from which new behaviors flow. Easy? No. The most challenging journey many will face.
