Edna Keep’s own success in real estate has led her to teaching others how to achieve in the same area.
What’s your story?
My journey from single mom at age 16 – living in subsidized housing with a daughter in subsidized daycare – to multi-millionaire Real Estate Entrepreneur and Coach inspires others. My major operations are long-term buy-and-hold rental apartment buildings. My claim to fame is a $75 Million real estate portfolio built with “Other People’s Money.”
What excites you most about your industry?
What excites me most about my industry is how many amazing opportunities there are in real estate investing and my ability to help my students navigate through all of these wonderful opportunities.
What drives you in business to push beyond what other people consider normal?
My drive to push beyond what other people consider normal comes from my understanding of how the universe works and knowing that because of the universal laws, I can be, do, and have everything I want in this life.
What have been the most useful skills you have learnt and applied in your journey?
My most useful skills are my awareness of a higher power, sales, and service to others.
What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
Go BIG! Most people go to the ocean with a teaspoon when they could pull up with huge buckets.
Who inspires you?
My sales and mindset coach Dave Conway and Bob Proctor. It’s incredible how Bob is 87 years old, still on stage teaching, and is constantly giving back to the world.
What have you learnt recently that blew you away?
The Power of Universal Laws and that when you set a goal, the universe has to give it to you. Also, understanding the mechanical verses the spiritual action.
If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I would adopt the attitude that life happens for me, not to me.
How do you unwind?
I enjoy playing cards with my friends and I pass time watching TikTok videos.
What is a major mindset change, belief shift or ‘ah ha’ moment that you’ve experienced in relation to your business?
My understanding of the spiritual side of life and business.
