Build Your Media Profile

“You are who Google says you are!’’

– Daniel Priestley

This program has worked for thousands of people across multiple industries!

Are you ambitious?

The reality of the world we live in today is that if you want to do anything of worth, people are going to Google you.

For them to take you seriously they need to see interviews with you, podcasts with you and read your thought leadership on multiple topics.

This allows them to build trust with you much quicker than when you are an unknown quantity. Which leads to many more opportunities – and ironically more media opportunities to come your way!

The problem is the media likes to cover people that are already being covered by the media. Have you noticed how the same people get interviewed over and over again? The same people show up on every podcast?  The same ‘talking heads’ are on all the same shows?

How do you break into that media cycle? How do you go from being overlooked to becoming the focus of attention?

If you have ambitions of appearing on the front cover of Forbes or being interviewed on your favourite podcast it is all possible. And when you do, for a brief moment of time you become the center of everyone’s attention. All opportunities flow to you.

However, there is a reason why you’re not currently getting the attention you need. Despite social media, there are still only a relatively few platforms and a lot of people that want the attention. It is hard to stand out when everyone is publishing their own content.

But there is a way.  There is always a way!

The reality is that people with a bigger media footprint get more opportunities. It’s not complicated, the more you show up on the radars of journalists, the more likely they are to cover you. No one today has time to try and find undiscovered talent, they want to cover someone that is already visible and on the way up.

To get into the mainstream media, you either need to wait to ‘get lucky’ or have a specific plan to build a media profile so that it is easy for others to invite you on to their platforms.

My story: In 2014 I was fed up of seeing the same interviews with the same leaders. I had friends who were doing great stuff and were never getting covered and so I approached a website and offered to write up interviews of interesting leaders. Years later we have our own platform, have published interviews with well over 2,000 leaders. Launched a podcast and featured hundreds of inspirational stories of how leaders overcame hurdles and now we want to help you!

This is a 5 step process where you will see results instantly, but will continue building over a 2 year period.

1. Publish your first Interview.

This is a ‘get to know you’ piece and an opportunity to showcase what you are doing. Think hard on the answers as this is the published article you will send to other media to showcase who you are and what you do.

2. Ambassador Program.

Have you noticed how the same talking heads get asked on multiple programs often to give their opinions on a wide range of stories? In the Ambassador Program, you will get emailed a question each week related to leadership.  Your job is to answer in under 100 words and we will publish that answer. There are 100 questions over nearly 2 years. That means your name will be published 100 times in relation to leadership questions.

3. Micro-Podcast.

The CallumConnects micro podcast started during Covid lockdown as a way to inspire my audience with short stories of how people had overcome hurdles in their journeys. Podcasts have a huge long tail i.e. they will pop up on peoples recommendations years from now.

4. A day in a life!

We recommend you do this one 6-12 months after your first interview is published. In our first interview we were aiming to impress. To attract more media, partners, team etc. In this interview we want to let people know a little bit more about the person behind the persona.  What are you really like. Although it might feel a little strange to ‘open the kimono’, it is important to let people know you are real and approachable if you are the receive the best opportunities.

5. Leverage.

By the end of the first year.  You will have 2 published articles, 50 thought leadership pieces and at least one podcast. If you haven’t started already, now is the time to start reaching out to other media and leveraging your work to reach an even wider audience.

This full 2 year package can start for you today, right now for just $5000!
