If I was starting my lifestyle brand from scratch today, my biggest change would be to set up my dashboard on ClickUp to prioritize B2B to B2C from the start. I would ensure having 1-7+ B2B contracts set to scale while using the funds to ensure investment in the B2C + scaling components of the business.
For example, I would have started with B2B with setting brands up for Lifestyle Brand and/or Influencer Management building. I would evaluate what to scale on the brand and agency side with automation and delegation.
This would ensure more than enough revenue, easing of scarcity, ability to pay me, and scaling to free up time.
I would immediately organize the funds to then invest in B2C with automation and delegation as well.
One of the biggest challenges as an entrepreneur/business owner is to ensure funding. Many go about this with investor funding, which may lead to shifting from purpose or relinquishing control, or focusing solely on funding. With a B2B focus first, this gives you the purpose, client, and funding all in one eliminating scarcity and proving with a paid client that the concept works.
