Listening. Repeat what I have heard, only with a slight reframing. Then, I asked, “Does that sound right?” If not, I ask for clarification. Then ask again if I have it right, along with the reframe. Once I get a yes, I also get a subconscious yes to the reframe. For example, “I am terrible with my finances.” My response, “In the past you have made financial decisions that you now know haven’t served you well?” I can use this same type of reframing in my marketing.
