Valentina Tudose, Founder of Happy Ever After

Valentina Tudose’s mission is helping singles find the love of their life and couples deepen their intimacy and connection.

What’s your story?
I became a dating and relationship coach because I saw many of my friends struggle with finding happiness in a city so focused on careers, achievement and success that we forgot how to love. I realized it was not about the fact that there are not enough options out there but more that we allow our beliefs to create a reality in which we would not recognize love if it stared us in the face.

What excites you most about your industry?
I love being able to help people live happier more purposeful lives. Despite the complexity of modern life, there is no formal education system that teaches us how to be better at relationships, how to connect better and how to create happier lives for ourselves. I love that so many people today focus on self-love and personal development and I am very excited to be part of the solution.

What’s your connection to Asia?
I moved to HK 15 years ago and it was love at first sight. I’d only been to Singapore and Malaysia before (and didn’t love them) but the day I got off the plane here, I just knew this was going to be my home for a long time possibly forever.

Meanwhile, I have houses in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Macau and family living in Vietnam, so I am more connected to Asia than I am to my home country.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Hong Kong for sure. It is the perfect city for the work that I do because of our busy lives and how much we need to refocus our attention on ourselves. The HK people’s mentality is that when something is not working in your life you get off your butt and fix it. I am here to fix any matters of the heart which puts me in the perfect place to serve as many people as possible.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
For anything you need to fix in life, there is a book out there that solves your problem. Find the book and you no longer have a problem. This has been my motto over the years and it’s never failed me.

Who inspires you?
My clients inspire me every day because it takes a lot of strength and resilience to constantly push the boundaries of your comfort zone to grow and become a better version of yourself. Professionally, my biggest inspiration is Esther Perel, the worlds most famous couples therapist, who is on a similar mission as me and has changed hundreds of lives. I am fortunate to have such amazing role models.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
Before my holiday, I experimented with debunking one of my strongest beliefs: that going out and drinking water all night is the surest way to prevent yourself from having a great time. I proved to myself that your experience is a direct consequence of your attitude so was able to have a wonderful time while staying super hydrated and not touching a drop of alcohol. It did blow me away!

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
Nothing! Everything that happened in my life has made me the person I am today, so I would make exactly the same choices all over again because I know I am living my life purpose and I would not want it any other way.

How do you unwind?
I love kickboxing and going to the gym but also reading and spending time with my friends. I also love dancing so pretty much any kind of movement makes me happy.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
Bali because it has a bit of everything. I love the spiritual side that is so rich and varied with the opportunity to meet a lot of amazingly interesting people everywhere you go. But also the beautiful restaurants and beach clubs where you can have a very different kind of experience that can be equally enriching.

Everyone in business should read this book:
The dark side of the light chasers By Debbie Ford. This book really changed my life and I recommend it to everyone I know. It’s about recognizing the amazing potential we have hidden inside and brought it out to make a real difference in the world.

Shameless plug for your business:
Whether you are single and lost hope that you can ever find the love of your life or already in a relationship that has started to show some issues; we all need a little help when it comes to relationships. Working with me is like having a personal trainer for your heart: you don’t think you need help but just like any muscle relationships do take a lot of work and dedication to grow and strengthen. Why not explore what’s possible for you with just a small shift of perspective?

How can people connect with you?
I offer a free 20 min discovery call to anyone who’s interested to learn more about what coaching can do for them and this can be booked on my website Also via social media: IG @yourlovefairygodmother and Facebook
