What belief do you hold about your industry that is not shared by many?

To be good at your job in fashion you have to be a snob!
We have a keen eye and yes we notice details which is an acquired quality by way of our profession. But that does not mean that we need to be rude, curt or extremely blunt when we spot the knot (which we do a lot), making the work place an unbearable experience for our team mates.
Fashion is like any other field where you do not say yes to mediocrity and aim for the best always. However the same can be achieved by good calm leadership.
I believe our industry could improve in the overall workplace culture.
