What childhood event still has an outsized influence on how you approach life? by Sarah Kalmeta

The childhood event that has a huge influence on me still, to this day, is my figure skating training. The early morning starts to train before school, watching Rocky & Bullwinkle and eating Captain Crunch cereal to after school dates on the ice, musty bruises and getting back up and going again, again and again. It taught me discipline, it taught me resilience, it taught me passion and tenacity.
