AR/VR has been gaining some traction in recent times but has yet to reach the stage of mass adoption. If AR/VR does take off and becomes mainstream, designers will have to consider and factor in how AR/VR will affect the overall consumer journey and experience. As this will be a new touchpoint, it needs to be inserted at the right point with the right purpose and execution to enhance the existing journey.
