What figures from history inspire you? by Cathy Nesbitt

There are so many inspirational historical figures. Lucille Ball was not only very funny and talented on camera, she was the first woman to own a studio, Desilu Productions. She lead the way for female actors, comedians and women of all walks of life to step out, be different and live life out loud. She left a legacy of laughter. I recall many fond memories coming home from school to watch I Love Lucy. She inspired me to take laughter seriously. Laughter is a big part of my health plan. Lucille Ball was instrumental in bringing me much joy as a child which continues today as an adult.
