The thing I recently learned in my business that I wished I learned earlier is realizing that success takes time and it does not happen overnight. I used to think that I needed to invest a fortune to be successful. After seeing how many entrepreneurs invested money and failed, I realized that when you open a business, you need to start small and grow from there. For example, opening a business in your basement is a good idea because you only have to worry about the cost of living. It also a good idea to make sure that you only invest when a sale is made. Since I learned this, it made my business last so much longer. Regardless of how many mistakes we make, we keep learning and growing over time.
