What is your best advice for people on how to recruit great team members?

My best advice would be to define the top 3 non-negotiable characteristics of your ideal team member. Then when you find people that meet those criteria and interview them for their communication skills and cultural fit make offers. There is no perfect candidate, go for ones that meet the critical requirements and get them into the company and performing.
