My greatest business extravagance is in marketing. As mentioned previously, you do not have to spend millions of dollars just to be successful in business. Even though many businesses that have spent a lot of money and claim to be very successful, their marketing often does not influence buyers to purchase their products. I used to invest a lot of money in marketing thinking it was the best way to build a customer base, when I could have just had people see my products for themselves and try the products out. From live demonstrations, there is more probability of making sales than trying to influence people online. So I learned, you do not have to invest a fortune just to be successful. There are other ways to market and save a lot of money at the same time.
