What makes you most optimistic about the future of your industry? by Sharmin Prince

I’m most optimistic about the nonprofit sector because the power that nonprofits have to bring about positive change in the world is incredible. We are often the first to respond to the needs of our communities. We often make real changes to the lives of the people we serve. In addition, there is a growing trend of corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy. This has resulted in a greater awareness of our important role in society and increased support for nonprofits. With this increased support, nonprofits have more capacity to make lasting and meaningful change.
