What one thing do you feel makes the biggest impact on company culture? by Yonason Goldson

This might be the easiest question I’m ever asked. The answer is obvious:

Trust.

More than higher pay, fewer hours, or better benefits, what employees say they want most from a job is a boss they can trust. Yet HBR reports that 58% of employees would trust a total stranger more than their own boss.

When you create a culture of ethics, trust naturally becomes the driving force that produces happier employees who are more engaged, energized, loyal, and productive.

Leaders make the mistake of thinking they can’t afford to be ethical. The truth is, they can’t afford not to be.
