One skill I have developed in my career is focus. For example, college assignments take a hard work ethic and an extended amount of time. Similarly, to succeed at this career, one must exert focus and work laboriously. In college, I thought about how I could make my assignments stand out and provide my instructors with the information they were seeking. I like to think of business like formal education. If I can market my business to suit the needs of my intended audience, I can effectively engage people and keep them interested in my brand. I learn to manage my expectations and balance them with hard work, and this will help my business in the long-term. This takes an extended amount of focus in investing in marketing one’s business.
