What’s more important? Talent, effort or luck? by Cathy Nesbitt

Of course the answer to this question depends upon the topic. I waffled back and forth between talent and effort. Effort kept coming up as the most important because you may be tremendously talented in an area, but without putting in the effort, your talent may go unnoticed. Luck also seems to depend upon effort. Luck is required to win the lottery but effort is needed first to purchase the ticket. In most situations, effort will supercede talent and luck except where a particular skill is required to complete the task, then talent may be more important.
