What drives you in your career to push beyond what other people consider normal?

To give my family the best life possible and to keep encouraging them to test themselves, we all fail at certain things and its important to learn from those mistakes and keep positive, we only have one chance at life.

What have been the most useful skills you have learnt and applied in your journey?

To be ethical and transparent at all times, the just rewards will come in time if you have good values and ethics and will help progress a career the way you wish it to.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?

Believe in yourself. Although I have a comfortable lifestyle I have just chaired my first advisory board position, something I never thought achievable a few years ago.

Who inspires you?

Have had to think about this deeply but Jeremy Harbour and Callum Laing have influenced me greatly to come out of my comfort zone, keep learning and expand my network and to keep pushing myself, assisting people in becoming better entrepreneurs in helping create a better world for everyone.

What have you learnt recently that blew you away?

Most likely that I can achieve anything I wish to, coming from a humble background you often lack the confidence to make a better life for yourself. Go forth and conquer I say.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?

Start earlier, coming from a very humble background I had a lot of apprehension moving into the world of business but it’s important to believe in yourself and keep breaking boundaries.

How do you unwind?

I have played many sports at good levels and still play golf and occasionally some pickleball when my knee allows. Taking the dog for a walk and in 2026 hope to be travelling the world much more to see new cultures.

What is a major mindset change, belief shift or ‘ah ha’ moment that you’ve experienced in relation to your career?

Doing the Harbour Club through Jeremy Harbour and then being introduced to other entrepreneurs within the network including Callum Laing, enjoying both their videos and learning material.

Everyone in business should read this book:

Will come way from business for a bit but “How Not To Die” by Michael Greger changed my life after a health diagnosis, changed my diet to being 95% plant based, better for me, better for the environment and now barely eat meat at all.

Shameless plug for your business or career:
