What coming technological advancement do you expect to have the biggest impact on your business?

Sooner rather than later AI will be able to set-up PPC campaigns even better than humans do. This is a matter of time when such technology will be shifted to other types of campaigns like email marketing, SEO and so much more. Marketer’s jobs will be shifted dramatically. Right now the biggest hope of marketers is that AI won’t be able to replace the creativity part, but who knows?

What do you wish someone had told you at the beginning of your career?

This one is easy for me. I used to do my best in terms of planning the business and making sure I can eliminate the risks and predict the future of the growth. However, what I missed was the fact that such a planning at the very beginning is not necessary as there are much more variables that most of us can predict. That’s why focusing on quick, efficient tactical moves aligned with the direction you want to go are much more important at the start. The next important step would be understanding the time when you need to switch focus to building and sticking to the strategy.

What makes you most optimistic about the future of your industry?

COVID pushed the world into digitalization and finally, many businesses understood that they need to take some action on the internet. I don’t see this trend going anywhere down. Now, as demand is growing, it will become more lucrative for professionals to work in this market. It means more companies competing and coming with new solutions to win, both for themselves and for their clients. This will inevitably drive the industry to the next level.

What belief do you hold about your industry that is not shared by many?

I work in the digital marketing field and I believe that many think that marketing won’t be replaced by machines. Yet, I think the opposite is true and there will be a very little space where human will do a better job than a machine. There is a clear algorithm behind most successful marketing campaigns and the more you work in marketing the more you see its pattern.
