For as long as I can remember, I thought the only field I belonged in was healthcare (except in 4th grade when I saw Miss Congeniality and wanted to be an FBI agent, but that was short lived..). I attended Penn State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Policy & Administration with a minor in biology. I then went on to earn my Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University. While finishing my final semester of graduate school, studying for the national board exam, and job searching, the most unexpected thing happened: I found myself co-founding a dating app with my best friend and nurse practitioner, Danielle. In October of 2019 we launched Fourplay, a double dating app where singles team up with a friend, create a shared profile, and then match with other teams. With zero business backgrounds or technical skills, Danielle and I took a huge risk because we knew there was a serious need for our product; singles need a more fun, more social, and SAFER way to meet, and that's exactly what Fourplay is. If you had told me when I was 18 that I would start my own business at age 26 (and that it would be a dating app) I would have been convinced you had confused me with someone else. But, after struggling with major imposter syndrome and a minor identity crisis I have come to love how unexpected life can be. You never know where the journey will take you. You don't know what you're really capable of until you try. And, like Thomas Edison said, if you try you will literally astound yourself.
