Bradly’s DIY Platform Provides Interactive Marketing Solutions

What’s your story?
Starting at a young age, I always wanted to set up a business where I could interact with people.  I was fortunate to study and live in The Netherlands and Canada for over 15 years which gave me the opportunity to explore and understand the European and North American markets.

After returning to Hong Kong, I started my career working in different industries gaining substantial experience in corporate training, manufacturing, gaming and entertainment industries. Since 2015, I have been working on interactive marketing solutions such as an Augmented Reality Mobile APP, 3D projection mapping, Holographic images for international Brands such as Intel, Samsung, and Coca-Cola, to engage with consumers.

Over the years I came to realize there is no single platform that can provide an all-in-one SaaS intelligent, interactive marketplace for both brands and merchants to create their own e-commerce with their own loyalty program.  This is why I developed a DIY platform called LOOP,  that allows brands and merchants to create a marketing, product offering, and loyalty campaign, all in less than 5 minutes.

“Learning consumer behaviours helps brands and merchants to connect with consumers in a cost effective and efficient way.”

What excites you most about your industry?
Developing a fun platform that provides interactive, social commerce with programmatic advertising technology, where users can share personal shopping experiences and information through built-in machine learning and AI algorithms, is pretty exciting.  Learning consumer behaviours helps brands and merchants to connect with consumers in a cost effective and efficient way.  Any Mobile APP or Website can be integrated into the platform which allows brands to push the best proximity marketing information to consumers.

What’s your connection to Asia?
My family has been in Hong Kong for over 500 years and we are considered to be local indigenous people. Most of my family still live in Hong Kong but I also have relatives living in Europe. Living and working in Hong Kong has afforded opportunities to meet with people from all over the world.  For the past 20 years, I have met friends and partners from Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.  I was fortunate to have met my wife in Hong Kong, though her family is in Thailand. Asia is definitely my home and where my heart is.

Favourite city in Asia for business and why?
Hong Kong is one of my favourite cities for business because of its flexibility, efficiency, as well as the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Being a central hub in Asia, it’s easy to travel to many world destinations, as major airlines come through Hong Kong.

What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
No matter who you are dealing with, treat everyone the way you want to be treated.  Mutual respect goes a long way.

Who inspires you?
I get a lot of inspiration from my wife because of her kindness and honesty in both business and personal interactions.

What have you just learnt recently that blew you away?
The COVID-19 situation has unveiled a lot about human nature and, unfortunately, more of its ugly side. It has demonstrated that as a society, we humans can still do more to be better than we were yesterday. We need to be more kind, considerate, and understanding. I believe mother nature is telling us that we need to learn from this pandemic to respect each other and the world we live in.

If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
Although the technology was not what it is today, I would have continued pursuing my first start-up to make it successful. Do what you believe in and persistence will get you to your goal.

How do you unwind?
I enjoy cooking a great meal and relaxing at home, or watching a good action movie.

Favourite Asian destination for relaxation? Why?
I would pick Thailand for its diversity in things to do, such as great beaches, the amazing variety of food and plentiful shopping.
