In a recent LinkedIn post, Teresa Torres outlined a comprehensive schedule of events and learning opportunities for January, focusing on continuous discovery and business fundamentals for product teams. Torres, a recognized leader in product development strategy, shared details about book clubs, webinars, and challenges designed to enhance product professionals’ skills.

Torres emphasized the importance of continuous engagement with customers and connecting product decisions to tangible business outcomes. She highlighted several key initiatives, including a book club for her work on “Continuous Discovery Habits.” As she noted regarding the book club:

“We kicked off the 2026 Continuous Discovery Habits Book Club.”

Upcoming Webinars Focus on Business Outcomes and Customer Interviews

A significant portion of Torres’s announcement detailed upcoming webinars. One such webinar, scheduled for January 12, 2026, focuses on connecting product decisions to business results. Torres explained the core objective of this session:

“In this webinar, Hope Gurion and I will discuss the often missing business context that helps product teams see how their day-to-day decisions can drive business outcomes.”

Another key webinar, scheduled for January 14, 2026, delves into the art of continuous interviewing. Torres stressed that while many teams recognize the need for regular customer engagement, the quality of these conversations can vary. She pointed out the value of specific techniques:

“Most product teams now know they should be engaging with customers on a regular basis. But not all customer conversations are the same. There’s a simple (but not always easy) technique you can learn to gain valuable insights from every customer conversation,” Torres stated.

Intensive Challenges to Sharpen Product Skills

Beyond webinars, Torres announced two intensive challenges running concurrently from January 19-23, 2026. The “5-Day Customer Interview Challenge” aims to improve interviewing skills through daily practice and AI-powered feedback. Similarly, the “5-Day Business Fundamentals Challenge” focuses on essential business questions, also featuring AI coaching and feedback.

Torres further detailed the incentives for participating in these challenges, noting the inclusion of daily prizes and a grand prize raffle. As she described the customer interview challenge:

“5 days, 5 interviews: each day we’ll focus on a different interviewing skill. Improve with expert feedback from our AI Interview Coach.”

The post also mentioned “Claude Code Office Hours” for members and a webinar on “The What and Why of Continuous Discovery” scheduled for January 20, 2026. Torres concluded her post by encouraging engagement and collaboration, inviting followers to share their excitement and tag colleagues who might benefit from these opportunities.
