What’s your story?
I am the largest crypto influencer in the German-speaking world with over 90,000 followers on YouTube. I have written many articles and spoken at many blockchain conferences.
I am a medical doctor and ex-professional athlete, and CEO co-founder of Cake, and chairman of DeFiChain Foundation.
My vision is to bring blockchain awareness and understanding to a billion more people by 2025.
What excites you most about your industry?
The true disruption of the traditional financial space.
What drives you in business to push beyond what other people consider normal?
I really want to make an impact, and I will consider myself satisfied only when I’ll manage to reach at least 100 million people.
What have been the most useful skills you have learnt and applied in your journey?
Separating decision-making from the results: even a good decision can lead to a bad result.
What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
“Self-employed people ask HOW, business owners ask WHO”.
Who inspires you?
Elon Musk. In general, people with a strong work ethic.
What have you learnt recently that blew you away?
I just became father, so I recently learnt how truly difficult it is to be a single mom 🙂 Blew me away!
If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
Nothing. Everything I did contributed to make me who I am. I have no regrets.

What is a major mindset change, belief shift or ‘ah ha’ moment that you’ve experienced in relation to your business?
People don’t want to own (Assets/Cryptocurrencies): they want to make money out of it. I learnt it thanks to my company Cake DeFi.
