Krishnan Isaac’s success in investing has made him determined to pass his knowledge on.
What’s your story?
Since I was young, I’ve always been curious about financial literacy & entrepreneurship. That is what sparked my interest in learning about investing in the markets & trying to build businesses. After gaining some success in investing, I would like to now pass this knowledge on to the new generation as well as the average joe, to show them that financial success is possible for anybody & anyone. That is what we aim to achieve at PRIDE.
What excites you most about your industry?
The fact that anyone can become financially independent & free, if they put in the time & effort to learn the skillset that is required to be successful in the stock market. The journey of an investor & entrepreneur is not an easy one but if you can brave the storms, then you will reap the benefits as well as the success that comes with it. That is what continues to excite me and propel me forward. It is what I hope to pass on to my peers & teach them as well.

What drives you in business to push beyond what other people consider normal?
To not just be the Jack of all Trades, But the MASTER of All Trades. With technological advancements & the rise of crypto, it requires one to constantly grow their knowledge & be open to new investment possibilities, to grow one’s wealth. As an avid investor & entrepreneur, I am always looking for the next best opportunity to invest in. It pushes me to constantly be growing & learning how I can replicate what I’ve learnt, into teaching it to others.
What have been the most useful skills you have learnt and applied in your journey?
Investing, Coding/IT & Networking Skills. These are the essential skills I think every individual needs right now and it’s something that’s very valuable. To couple with that, if you can also possess Hard Work, Adaptability & Resilience, then you’ve got a killer combination for success right there.
What’s the best piece of advice you ever received?
1) To Thrive, Not to Survive – Never be satisfied with just getting by. Always look to constantly be progressing forward & pursuing new opportunities.
Who inspires you?
If I’m being honest, I’ve got a few inspirations and role models:
Warren Buffett – He was the one that paved my journey & way into investing
Tony Robbins – Everything to do with mindset & character, I learnt from him
Suresh Chandran – Our CEO & my personal mentor. This guy has taught me everything & I’m still learning from him as I grow
My Parents – My biggest motivation & why everything I do, is always for them.
What have you learnt recently that blew you away?
2020 showed me that as a business, if you’re constantly finding new ways to innovate & adapt to any situation, you can be successful. COVID-19 showed me that despite many business going bankrupt & closing down, there were some that became even more successful & continued to thrive. It was all possible because they were willing to try new things & change their approach.
If you had your time again, what would you do differently?
I would have got started as an Investor & Entrepreneur earlier in my life. I would have sought actively for business & investing mentors earlier on, to help me shorten the learning curve & avoid crucial mistakes that cost me badly.
How do you unwind?
Meditation, skipping, hanging out with friends & family. Cooking.
What is a major mindset change, belief shift or ‘ah ha’ moment that you’ve experienced in relation to your business?
1) To approach every situation with absolute certainty – In whatever I undertake now, I go into it with a mindset that I can do it & I am going to give it my best. I have no control over the challenges, setbacks or uncertainties that may occur, but I know that in the end, I’ll be successful in that task & reach my eventual outcome.
Everyone in business should read this book:
Principles by Ray Dalio – One of the most famous hedge fund managers who talks about his journey in investing & entrepreneurship. This book was an eye opener for me & made me realize the importance of analytical/critical thinking in all aspects of our lives.
Shameless plug for your business:
To put it simply, PRIDE was formed to make a difference in people’s lives. Many individuals struggle with finances, be it in literacy or management. Some, who attempt to learn to invest, still find their efforts futile. We believe that a financial and/or business education, will equip everyone with knowledge and a sense of empowerment to guide you towards achieving a full life. One where you can be financially free.
