I guess it’s the old Messi or Ronaldo debate. I would go with effort with a bit of luck. I have seen many, not so talented people, make a success out of themselves by shear hard work, determination and the ability to show up everyday without giving up. So I don’t think talent plays a part, it can make life a little easier, but you will still need effort and a smidge of luck to truly get there.
