In my humble opinion as a business owner, it is never acceptable to lie because one way or another, the truth will come out. People can investigate your claims very easily and if they see you are not honest, they will distance themselves from you because you have betrayed their trust. As I mentioned previously, in business, if we do not have trust of our customers, we do not have anything. Lying betrays that trust. Gaining trust takes a long time and breaking it is very simple. That is why businesses should never lie because in the end, people will realize the truth.
