Build my staircase.
When things feel difficult, my hack is to focus on my staircase.
I love the metaphor – because the magical thing about a staircase is that if it’s aligned with your goal, it will always get you there.
Once it’s built, you don’t need to let its height overwhelm you.
My motivation comes from climbing it, one step at a time.
When energy or belief fades, stop staring at how far there is to go; look back at how far you’ve already climbed.
That perspective rebuilds balance and confidence.
Progress, not perfection, restores hope.
And if the staircase no longer aligns with the goal–pause and rebuild before the climb.
