First and foremost, it is essential to establish clear rules and boundaries. While urgent matters may arise occasionally, they should not dictate the way you operate on a daily basis, as that signals a deeper issue. What truly helps me switch off from work is taking a deliberate break in the evening and prioritizing a good night’s sleep. This foundation is crucial in setting the right frame of mind, enabling me to engage with renewed energy the following day.

A vital strategy in my daily routine is engaging in some form of reading combined with a brief meditation. This practice is key to mentally preparing myself for the day ahead, clearing my mind, and effectively managing negative self-talk. Practicing gratitude is one example of this preparation—focusing on the positives and acknowledging the contributions of others on my team.

Teamwork plays an integral role as well; openly sharing ideas and concerns often leads to quicker problem-solving and results in stronger, more effective solutions.
