I prioritise impact, not urgency.
A lot of people spend their day reacting to emails, messages, and meetings instead of focusing on the work that genuinely moves things forward.
One habit that helps me is asking:
“What will make the biggest difference if completed today?”
That question cuts through noise very quickly.
I also try to protect thinking time. Good decisions rarely happen in constant distraction.
Not everything deserves immediate attention, and not every opportunity deserves a yes.
Prioritisation is less about doing more.
It’s about being intentional about what matters most.
