My number one strategy is to reduce the scale of the problem. When things feel overwhelming, motivation rarely responds to grand plans. It responds to momentum. I focus on the smallest meaningful action I can take that moves the situation forward, however modest. Action precedes motivation, not the other way around. Once progress begins, even incrementally, clarity and energy tend to follow. I also return to purpose, reminding myself why the work matters and who it ultimately serves. Reconnecting with impact reframes hopelessness into responsibility, and responsibility is often a more reliable driver than inspiration.
