What would constitute a perfect day for you? by Sharmin Prince

Hey there! Let me tell you about my perfect day. My name is Sharmin Prince and for me, a perfect day is one where I am productive and able to help others. I am a firm believer in writing down a to-do list and checking off each item as the day progresses. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and makes me feel like I have been productive.

But what truly makes my day perfect is being able to help others. Whether that means volunteering my time or simply offering a listening ear to a friend in need or a total stranger, I find tremendous joy in being able to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

At the end of the day, when I reflect on everything I’ve accomplished and everyone I’ve helped, it brings me an immense sense of satisfaction. It’s a feeling that money can’t buy and one that inspires me to continue to do good in the world. I hope that I can encourage others to do the same, even if it’s just in small ways. Together, we can make a difference.

About Sharmin Prince

Welcome to my journey. I am Sharmin Prince, born and raised by one of the most resilient women in Georgetown, Guyana. I migrated to the United States at age 33 and have been here for the last 23 years. With that same resilience, I am determined to conquer the struggles and hurdles life has thrown my way. My creativity has enabled me to use these obstacles to drive me towards my goals and climb mountains to overcome hurdles blocking my path. This experience has given me a unique opportunity to help others. I am proud to say that I am an active listener, humanitarian, leader, and empath. I've developed my skills through education and work to get to where I am today, and I am dedicated to helping others every day. Over the past four years, I have been able to do all that I have done without major funding and continue to be creative in my process.
